Job Description

As the Head of Marketing in the Diagnostics Industry, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the brand, drive customer acquisition, and support overall business objectives. This position requires a dynamic and strategic marketing leader with a strong understanding of the diagnostics industry and the ability to create and implement effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic planning.


Brand Management:

Build and manage the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials. Develop and implement branding strategies to enhance brand visibility and recognition in the diagnostics sector.


Product Marketing:

Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to understand product offerings and create effective marketing plans for diagnostic products and services. Develop compelling product messaging and positioning to drive customer engagement and sales.


Digital Marketing:

Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns. Utilize digital channels to reach target audiences, generate leads, and enhance brand awareness.


Campaign Development and Execution:

Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns to generate demand and support sales objectives. Collaborate with creative teams to develop marketing collateral, content, and promotional materials.


Public Relations and Media Relations:

Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders. Manage public relations efforts to enhance the company's reputation and visibility in the diagnostics industry.


Market Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze marketing performance metrics and market trends to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.


Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


Budget Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business priorities. Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve budgetary targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business, Management, or a related field.


  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the diagnostics or healthcare industry.


  • In-depth knowledge of diagnostic testing processes, regulatory considerations, and industry best practices.


  • Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
